The Day

A typical day at the Iron Forums begins as members arrive at 7:15 a.m. for coffee and a 7:30 a.m. start time with breakfast. The Forum facilitator takes us through the first two hours with a presentation on a specific topic facing Christian business owners, followed by an opportunity for group discussion. At approximately 9:30 a.m., we break out into tables of 3-4 for Snapshot Groups led by a table leader for small group discussion. Around 11:30 lunch is served and we end the day at 1:00 p.m.

Typical Meeting Schedule

Snapshot Groups

The Snapshot group comprises 4-5 business owners that remain together as a group during each Forum meeting. This provides a safe and authentic environment to share critical issues and find support and biblically-based guidance from each other in the group. Each group has it’s own advisor, providing wisdom and experience with issues facing business owners.

We cover 10 topics each month, self-grading ourselves on how we have dealt with the issue over the past month. These areas include: intimacy with Jesus; relationship with our spouse, relationship with our children, staff, sales, marketing, operations, finances and leadership. Everyone is heard and prayed over and every issue is discussed.
