The Day

A typical day at the Iron Forums begins at 7:30 a.m. (sharp!) with breakfast. The Forum facilitator takes us through the first two hours with a presentation on a specific topic facing Christian business owners, followed by an opportunity for group discussion. At approximately 9:30 a.m., we break out into tables of 4 for Snapshot Groups led by a table leader for small group discussion. Around Noon we enjoy lunch together and end the day at 1:30 p.m.

Note that we also offer TWO additional formats:

  • Hybrid Model: Two Days per Month
    “In-Person Snapshot” day (7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m)
    “On-Line Content” day (7:30 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.).
  • Virtual Model: Last Friday of each month, 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Typical Meeting Schedule

Snapshot Groups

The Snapshot group comprises 4-5 business owners that remain together as a group during each Forum meeting. This provides a safe and authentic environment to share critical issues and find support and biblically-based guidance from each other in the group. Each group has it’s own advisor, providing wisdom and experience with issues facing business owners.

We cover 7 topics each month, self-grading ourselves on how we have dealt with the issue over the past month. These areas include: intimacy with Jesus; relationship with our wife, relationship with our children, staff, sales, marketing, operations, finances and leadership. Every man is heard and prayed over and every issue is discussed.
